I guess that depends on personal standards and definition of degrading. People who watch these shows obviously don't thing that, neither do people who participate. The question is whether they should receive so much attention on TV, specially considering that there is censorship in so many other areas - people cannot see nudity on TV, nor can buy liquor if too young. I do agree that some behaviors in these shows deserve far more censorship than do nudities in some movies. Although I said that one deserves more censorship than the other, that does not mean that I would censor any of those, it means that nudity should not be censored, as other things are in my opinion even more degrading.
