My own faith and I wonder is it possible it could be a religion.
It sounds like you've discovered how religions began. Not from god(s), but rather parents and tribal leaders who needed to exert control. Well the idea of my religion is I see my parents as my god on the grounds of biology and religious scripture from books declare we are made in the image of god or created in his image. When you translate this over to biology would that indicate my parents are my god due to having the similar features and traits possessed by my parents. Secondly if we look at the 10 commandments and translate them into what a parent would teach there kids.My own faith and I wonder is it possible it could be a religion.
