Which language should I learn: French or Japanese?

For answer this one has to make the question why to learn it for. Do you need it for academic purposes, for a job opporunity? Now that you have the business language, English, it's good to take a look at Spanish. The best opportunities are for those who are fluent in both English and Spanish at least in the U.S.With that in mind, I'd go learn french, why try to establish yourself where others are well established, go where few are, and really make a name for yourself. Besides that, most games end up in multiple languages anyway right? So then in reality you are making for the world rather than a region. Just my theory anyway. As for as I can perceive, video games are far more popular in Japan than in France. So Japanese would be practical, but if you take French you may be able to expand on a relatively undeveloped industry there. Would it be too difficult to learn both? If you can do it, go for it.I think you should start with French first. French is rather easy compared to Japanese. Japanese is almost necessary to know if you like video games. Maybe study French now and learn the Japanese kanji on the side? That way, when you're done with French, you just need to worry about Japanese grammar as the characters are out of the way. Just a thought. =) Chinese. China is becoming the world power, and it will have lots of job openings in near future. Japanese!!
I hope this one posted.... I think Japanese is a better choice, as it is less common among English speaking people, and has a more developed game industry than France. I have two years in both languages. I have had French courses over the last two years, and the two years before that was Japanese courses. I'm looking to go into video games as a career in the future, and I was wondering which might benefit me more?Which language should I learn: French or Japanese?
