I am having a back pain for years. I've tried many things but, so far, nothing worked. How can I 'fix' my back?

Hello, This is absolutety true. I could not tie my shoe. I quit drinking dairy products (milk) and my pain went away. Playing golf in 1 week! One work around is if you drink lots of water you can handle more dairy. However one glass of milk every two days is the max before back pain. Got to watch the icecream too. I believe there is something in the dairy that affects the back muscles. And or kidney. Thanks Rob I do think that chiropractors , who are experienced, can help you get better. My backache and shoulder pains have seen much relief thorough this mode of medicine and treatment. Try CBD, I use it for my old sporting injuries and I'm almost good as newI think that probably most back problems and pain, in general is caused by stress to your back muscles, or that any bone connected to your spine or anything could throw your entire body out of alignment. My arm was popped out of place for probably 10 years before anyone realized it, and now my spine is unaligned and I have constant back pain some days. Usually when I went to the doctors, they straightened it out some, and I was fine for a few weeks. Possibly see if that might be a problem.

Speaking of vitamin D and calcium, what should be the source for these? I try to avoid dairy products as I think they were part of the cause of the backpain. .

Try to figure out what changed in your life when you started having this pain, then try to reverse those changes. If it was an injury, you need to see a doctor. If it was some new habit, eliminate it.

Also, note that some people may get back pain due to stress.

1. You should visit few doctors: physician, nutritionist, chiropractic.

2. You should think about their advices and follow those that make sense to you.

3. You should change your habits.

Do you do sports? Too much sports? [1] i been haveing back pain sence i was fifteen now im eighteen still in pain what should i do I don't know if you have had it checked or not, but I had two fractures in my spine, and it took dotcors a few years to finally find it. I do a lot of work, and it was breaking over time. The pain as from the breaking. If nothing else, this could be a theory? If I were you I'd try foot reflexology, Flex-all 454, stretches, exercise, massages, heating pads, and buy a new, very supportive mattress (I recommend Serta's perfect night). Finally, make sure you are getting enough vitamin D and calcium - the backbone of nutrition. recent studies show people need a lot more than RDA of 400 i.u.'s vit d, they need more like 1-2,000 i.u.'s/day. Get lots of sunshine and take a vit D3 supplement of 1,000 i.u. and get lots of calcium If I were you I'd try foot reflexology, Flex-all 454, stretches, exercise, massages, heating pads, and buy a new, very supportive mattress (I recommend Serta's perfect night). After about 2 weeks of not taking milk products, and drinking very irregularly apple cider, my girlfriend asked me how was my back. I was little surprised by the question, and after a moment of thinking I realized it was better. I asked why did she ask me that. 'You don't complain like you did before, nor do I see that it bothers you like before.' She was right. What more can I say. If you have a back pain, just try these two things. When I think about it, no animals drink milk after infancy.

So I believed until I came upon a site where one person said that eliminating dairies from nutrition totally cured a back pain! I thought to my self, why not try. I doesn't require money, nor any extra time (especially not 1-2 hours every day exercising), it cannot hurt (for few weeks at least). so I gave it a try. I tried another natural cure at the same time - apple cider vinegar. And guess what![2]

The food part was also hard to believe as I was eating very healthy. Never junk food, just organic and diverse fruits, vegetables, dairies, not too much meat. After all, spine is a bone, and milk has calcium and is healthy for bones. So they taught us in schools and homes.

Two other possible causes came to my attention. Possible stress and possible inappropriate nutrition. Stress was not so surprising news, as in rare moments of anger and frustration, my pain would be amplified. However, my pain was constant, and these moments of anger were very occasional. I had a back pain even when I was in extremely good mood with absolutely no stress levels.

There were people who were suggesting a spine surgery! They claimed that what is messed up in teen-age years, cannot be fixed in mid twenties. To me that made no sense - if spine can get messed up in adult life (and it can), it seemed logical that it is able to get fixed in adult life too.
[3] Posture exercises were supposed to strengthen my muscles, but after recording voltages on my back muscles and learning that they were 2-4 times stronger than is normal, I started thinking that maybe too much exercising is actually damaging. Maybe my muscles were too tight, and causing nerves and vertebrae to misalign, so I stopped exercising, but muscle tightness was still there. I have seen many doctors, tried yoga, swimming, chiropractics, massages, posture exercises, etc., but nothing helped. In yoga some positions were killing me. Swimming was good only while I was in the pool, but since I am not a fish and don't live in water, it was not a solution. Most chiropractors were 'fakes', but 1 chiropractor helped my quite a lot, he literally straightened my spine. I was able to walk straight after quite a few years! However, back pain returned after a while. I am having a back pain for years. I've tried many things but, so far, nothing worked. How can I 'fix' my back? Try not to *do* anything others are telling you, but to only relax and "listen" to your body. In time you will learn what activities make you feel better or worse.
