This movie shows that the insouciance can lead us to some places we can never imagine. Great movie! It is a great film. I would recommend that everyone should watch it. Famous quote: "Life is like a box of chocolates. You never know what you're gonna get." Although he behaves in a manner many would consider 'retarded', I think Forrest is actually quite a smart fellow. A movie about a simple person who inadvertently influences the world and makes a difference. Although apparently of person of low intelligence, main character often shares with viewers wisdom expressed through simple yet powerfully truthful sentences. Forrest Gump with Tom Hanks.
