People who think any scientific fact is indisputable do not understand scientific method.

This; however, begs me to address the issue that science really cannot have facts per se.

But this manifestation only sheds further light onto the poor quality of the original statement. My comment is not related to the subject matter of the assertion, but to what the assertion provides contextually. It itself does not provide any incentive. It only serves to raze those who fall under the authors fabricated category.

For the sake of clarity I will propose an alternative way to express the thought in a more constructive way:

"Scientific fact is disputable."

This assertion can be easily tested using the aforementioned method of scientific inquiry; whereas, the original cannot. Or maybe it is quite the opposite. The assertion provides an incentive to scientists to explore the improbable, to challenge the established, to be brave and bold with ideas. That attitude makes science stronger, not divided or hostile. This assertion does nothing to further scientific inquiry, but only serves to create division and foster hostility.People who think any scientific fact is indisputable do not understand scientific method. It is scientific only to say what's more likely or less likely, and not to be proving all the time what's possible or impossible. [1] The important thing in science is not so much to obtain new facts as to discover new ways of thinking about them. [2][3] It is not the sign of a candid and scientific mind to throw overboard anything without proper investigation. Surface scientists, unable to explain various extraordinary mental phenomena, strive to ignore their very existence. Although scientific method guarantees that any scientific theory which is intended to explain or interpret facts is disputable, I didn't know that scientific fact itself, which is an objective and verifiable observation, is disputable.
