Don't use the internet in a public place until you read this.

It can be easy to break websites even when they are not used in a public area. Use products like TOR browser and always use a tunnel or a VPN.
[1] Public internet is perfect for the network cracker. So long as you don't enter any confidential information or sign in to anything, then you're good. It doesn't matter what search engine you use because HUNDREDS of people use that computer. If you use a computer in a public place, like a library, restaurant, or internet cafe, the information you send over the internet can be spied on without your consent. Use a search engine that keeps that information hidden from prying eyes. These search engines will show "https" in the URL bar. Startpage.com is a good example. You may consider using an email account that uses https for the whole session. Yahoo and Hotmail don't. You can also install "https everywhere" for additional protection.
