Nashville is home to the largest number of ugly or plain looking people I have ever seen. Its boring, unless you are straight and want to get married next year. I'm straight but I want to have fun and be single. I'm gorgeous but rarely get hit on at bars because they are so conservative here its mind numbing. Weeknights are even worse. Maybe I need to start going to church to pick up hot guys, I mean that's where they must be right? Sigh... Oh, you poor little things. Not enough bars and big city play toys to keep you happy? Nashville rocks because it's NOT just a big cement city. It's rolling hills, beauty, trails, gardens, lakes. It's music, roots, low-key, and earthy. As far as segregation and rudeness...Hello? Dude, you must be picking that up from yourself. Chill out whiney boy. I've lived here 20 years, I'm a homo, and I love it. Moved here from San Francisco (another great city) and have never regretted it! Spoken like a true northerner. I totally agree, I have been here for two years, baught a house and wish that I would have moved somewhere else. The 4 gay bars are lame and boring, the people in this city are VERY rude, the city seems to be segregated, a lot of closed mindedness. I could go on and on, but i think every one gets what I mean.Nashville sucks. They like to call themselves a real city, but they're not. People move there because it looks appealing at first, but after several visits of the same boring stuff and after you live there for a short period of time you learn the truth... Nashville sucks!!! Just because they're a level above the rest of the state and a good spot in the South maybe... the truth remains that they're still several levels below a real city. Four real seasons & CULTURE are both missing from crapville[1]Nashville (hickvegas) sucks.
