He is much more than an entertainer. He has great political influence, which is not unusual for comedian. Good humor can often expose political absurdities much easier and better than serious political discussion/argument. Jon Stewart is one of the best entertainers out there. He is great. However, keep in mind there there is a whole team of about two dozen writers who collect material and write his jokes.
