If people want to eat poison, why would the state get rewarded for it? State should not benefit from weaknesses of its citizens. On the contrary, maybe it should be punished because it did not do a good job in informing its citizens, and providing effective alternatives. Junk food tax.
If people don't care about themselves, and for example eat junk food or smoke, why should we take care of them?
