IgG ELISA food intolerance test. Is it reliable?

So maybe health benefits didn't occur because of change in diet, but because of all these other changes introduced into the lifestyle! Or maybe all of these things contributed to improvement. That is easy to find out - simply re-introduce some foods from the list that you think may be 'falsely' identified. If health troubles don't come back with their introduction, it will mean ELISA test was not very accurate. Usually doctors who do these tests don't just give a list of ingredients you shouldn't eat, they also give you guidelines on other activities. For example, they say you should exercise few times a week, or that you should eat sweets only two hours after regular meal. Some mention 'rotating' diet - no food should be eaten twice within four days. Today you can eat spinach, but then don't eat it following three days, re-introduce it the fifth day. Also, don't drink water during and around meals. I've done the test and have modified a diet according to suggestions. Although my health improved I am still not sure what the cause of this improvement is: elimination of all the foods marked by the test, or simply elimination of few well known unhealthy ingredients and all the products that contain them: sugar, wheat flour, (lots of) chocolates, etc. [1][2]IgG ELISA food intolerance test.
