Family is the social structure which will disappear in the near future.

But if civilization is only one and there are no countries and families, how are we going to be exposed to multiple world views? It appears that people will become quite more similar to each other than they are today, and that multiplicity of backgrounds and views will converge towards monotonicity. In the future macro boundaries will disappear (countries and borders) but also micro boundaries (local societies, groups, families). In the future there will be one human civilization nurturing all human beings. It won't matter where we come from, who are our parents or grand-parents, what color or blood type we are. Children will be raised collectively by parents - both biological and adopted. We will be exposed to multiple world-views in our upbringing. Family is the social structure which will disappear in the near future.
