Never thought of it in that way. I must agree that neither solve problems, and they both obviously cause problems. But say, we went from dairy cows to...breast milk? And alcohol doesnt always cause vomiting, smart people don't drive while drunk(no matter how hammered I am, I wont get in a car and drive). And it only destroys familys and relationships with alcoholics, I drink with my family all the time, and both me and my dad can easily become addicted. [1][2] While alcohol causes vomiting, sometimes reckless driving, addiction, and ruins families and relationships, milk causes health problems in a number of humans, and production of milk is one of the main contributors to global warming through the release of methane by cows. Alcohol creates many more problems than milk does. Alcohol does not solve any problems, but milk does neither.
