The rapid growth of technology is partially to blame but the conformity and consumerism surrounding us has had a hand in the downfall of individuality. They try to teach you in schools and in society to be like other people but thats a trap so they can control you like a puppet and herd you like sheep. They'll try to kill off thinkers such as us because we don't fit the status quo and aren't played for the fool. They want us to give in to the mass propaganda they barrage us with.As our world becomes smarter, humans become more simpleminded.
