Yesterday I came out to my parents as transgender (ftm). My mother took it better than my father but was worried I would want to change back after doing it.. My father wasn't mad or angry and said he didn't hate me, but he was definitely upset about hearing this and he doesn't want me to do it. Both of them think I am just a lesbian though.. Why does it seem so much easier for parents to accept their kid as gay as trans??? And is there a way I could help my parents understand this better? Trans and came out to my parents. How to make them understand it better?
